Where do I begin??
It has been too long since I have typed a Bryce update. I'll just ramble on and see what I can remember:
-We are potty training and have been for about a month. He is doing very good. At first, he didn't want to poopy on the potty but now he tells us when he has to go. He still waves "bye" to the poo or pee pee. He still wears a diaper or pull-up at night. He also feels the need to describe his poopy and it usually looks like food to him...."french fry" and "banana" are common descriptions. Eeeeewwww.
-He talks all the time but still acts a little shy when meeting someone new.
-He says his "No thank you's" and "May I's" but can be very demanding and bratty if he doesn't get what he wants. He is a full-blown toddler.
-He loves to swim and is getting more brave in the water.
-He is starting to sing and will sing "Ring around the Rosy" and part of the alphabet.
-He can count to 15 or 16 and as high as 20 but not consistently.
-He is STUBBORN.
-Loves to color with his sidewalk chalk.
-Has been watching Toy Story 1 & 2 religiously for the past month or so. He has Woody and Buzz Lightyear figures and just got Jesse as a prize for pooping on the potty. We took him to the theater to see Toy Story 3 in 3-D. Glued to the "Humongous TV" and ate too much popcorn.
-We've been going to Busch Gardens almost every weekend. He is crazy about the rides and even likes to go on the roller coaster.
-I started this entry on June 6th and am continuing on June 24th and he's already changed in that short amount of time!
-He likes to pretend and acts like a shark, a witch, a pirate, Buzz Lightyear, and acts like he calls the doctor and then has to give me a shot.
-Says "Don't tell me that" and "Don't see me" (which means he is either going to do something he shouldn't be doing or he was already busted for doing something and is now mad and embarrassed.)
-Tells me he loves me and that he missed me when I was at work.
-Told me there were lions in my bedroom and wanted to show me.
-Thinks that all birthday parties are for him and is visibly upset when he's told that his birthday isn't until December
-Says "Hilarious", "Ridiculous" and "Awesome" when describing something he saw or something he witnessed.
-Saw a rainbow the other day and was completely intrigued and now looks for one every time it rains.
-Grandma "hit it on the nail" when she said he was "All boy."
I am just still amazed at his growth over the past 2.5 years. This little guy has added so much joy and love into our lives. He is so much fun and has really helped keep everyone together and connected. Love him!
