Hello everyone! Mama Byrd here. (That makes me sound old). This is my first blog and therefore I think it is necessary to start, well, at the beginning. I was introduced to the Blog World when a friend of mine had quads (Jenna and Ryan Walker). I had no idea even what a blog was...yes, I am way out of the loop and have come to the conclusion that it will be Mike's (Papa Byrd) job to keep Bryce (Baby Byrd) cool and current. I can see it now, "Mom, Johnny has the New and Improved widget-doo-hickey 9000. Can I get one? Sure, Bryce....is that like the Atari I just bought you or that new thing called a cell phone?" (WAAAYYYY out of the loop).
Got a little sidetracked there. So, I am a frequent viewer of Jenna's blog and decided to venture out a bit and check out some other blogs. That led to hours at night (after Bryce falls asleep, of course) of reading about other moms and their families and other people who travel, etc. So I thought, what the heck, I can do that! I have a baby and crazy, interesting stories. Why not? I tend to start things and not finish them but maybe this will stick! I have no idea how to download/upload pictures yet or add eye catchin' bling but I'll figure it out eventually.
My main reason, like many fellow bloggers I'm sure, is to have a "common area" to share stories and pictures of Bryce with friends and family. We have family up north and down south and friends that we don't get to see too often anymore. This online bar-b-que will be a great place to meet, laugh and enjoy the craziness of being a new(er) mom and dad! (so cheesy).
