Water-logged...(written on 5/8...a little behind)

...not quite yet, but Bryce is definently attracted to water. Bath time is not only one of his favorite activities (not-so-much mine except that I can give him bath-time-mohawks), but he also enjoys watering the plants with Dada and Dada watering Bryce! We had him in the backyard playing the other night, like we usually do when I get home from work, and the outside faucet caught his eye. That was it...one track mind. He knew that in the faucet lived his liquid splendor! I only had it dripping out of the faucet (so back off water cops) but he would fill up his shovel and fling it around.

Then he discovered that he could wrap his little lips around it (I know, gross) and get a drink. This went on for a good ten minutes (which is an eternity when you are tired from work, getting knawed on by no-see-ems, and wondering what nasty bacteria/fungus your child is contracting/now growing on his lips) and would have gone on all night if I would have let it!
He went swimming last summer but he was tiny and didn't have that much of a reaction (or maybe he did and I don't remember....seems to happen alot when you're a Mama). This weekend the fam from Indiana will be here and swimming in my parents' pool is on their list right below Disney. "Just throw him in" one of the attorneys I work for suggested. Uh, no thanks. I want the swim lessons and a pro telling me to throw him in! Kara and Danica (Adam and Faith's girls) can show him how its done.
